Antique German silver mesh selling purse, c.1910's chainmaille handbag

Pictured is a c.1910's German silver* chainmaille purse with an embossed flower pattern on the frame and a fringe of silver metal drops. The piece is 5-1/8" wide (across the frame) x 5" long (less the kiss-lock and fringe), and is marked "GER. SILVER WHS CO". It's in good condition for its age with 2 small, light selling dents on the frame, 1 on each side (these appear as slight shadows near the upper right corners of the frame) and tears in the lining.
