Dahlias Sugar Pot Made In Japan white porcelain with gold dahlias selling and leaves

This cute sugar pot is white porcelain with gold paint in what i think is a Dahlia design. There are 2 dahlias on one side, 1 on the other side, with outlined leaves. It is stamped "Made in Japan" on the bottom.

My mother in law purchased it somewhere between 1955 to 1970. I do not know when it was made selling and have been unable to identify the pattern through Replacements.com or Google Search.

Unfortunately the lid is missing.
