Antique Hungarian hemp stenciled grain sack with name, Rustic German style herringbone feedsack

Size: 47x 120cm (about 18.5"x 47")
Freshly laundered condition

The sack was made from a fantastatic heavy slubby herringbone fabric. It must have been used so selling there are markings, spots, patches but there are no holes on it. As I laundered the fabric, it is now soft and easy to work with. It has that typical German dark ground tone.
The name is maybe Frendik István, hard to decide

I would recommend a wash at 40C (104F) maximum. Do not tumble dry. Hot steam iron when it is still a bit wet.

Although I did my best to reflect the actual and true colours with my camera, due to monitor differences, your impression may be different, too.

You can use it as a home decor or make a bench pillow, or any rustic home decor from it.
You can also make bags or clothing from this beautiful sack.
Besides its beauty, it is absolutely healthy and eco-friendly which is of prior importance.
