Late Middle Ages lard trousers of the 15th century with nest cords
These pants are made of a wool blend fabric (at least 85% wool content) and an inner lining made of 100% linen. White nest cords were also attached. The Schamlatz, which existed until modern times (see, for example, traditional lederhosen), is selling closed on both sides with a nest cord in two nest holes attached to the trouser legs.
The nest cords shown are included in the scope of delivery.
Furthermore, the pants have 6 places on the waistband, to which two nest holes are attached to nest the pants on a belt or wams. The nest holes fit, for example, to our coolers VM002452, VM002453, VM002454.
Please note that the trousers do not have a button or similar for closing on the waistband, as the trousers were held over the nest cords at that time.
