Georgian sterling silver salt spoon hallmarked London 1826, SKU-1096
This George IV salt spoon is close to 200 years of age! This spoon was skilfully hand-crafted . It is used with an open salt. It would sit inside the open salt bowl.
The spoon is fully hallmarked with a Lion's Head (London)-Lion Passant (Sterling silver) -Letter date l (1826)-partial WE within a rectangle-Maker's mark for William Eaton) William Eaton died in 1845 and his widow Elizabeth, registered her own mark the same year.
A lovely gift for the collector, or a companion for your open salt bowl.
