This antique, gold gilded metal casket jewelry box is stunning ! It is from the Victorian / Art Nouveau time period and is adorned with roses and rose buds. It has a bent branch arm handle which was typical for these boxes This four-footed, hinged box has its original silk and braided lining which is rare to find. The box is in fine shape considering it's age except for one side that has some damage ( photo 4 ) and some chipping on the rim inside. I think it gives this rusty gold, beauty a lot of character !

The jewelry box is large and is 6" X 6" and 4" wide. The inside lined oval is 4 1/2" X 3" and 1 1/2" deep. It is very heavy.
