Rebound in a full library cloth binding, with blind stamp of 'Hackney Public Library' to the front board, and an institutional bookplate tipped to the front board. Condition Report: Rebound in a full cloth binding, with blind stamp of 'Hackney Public Library' to the front board and gilt shelf number and title to spine. Externally lovely, with minor shelfwear to extremities and slight rubbing to head and tail of spine. Small ink mark to tail of spine. Institutional bookplate tipped to front pastedown, featuring institutional selling ink stamp. Front hinge slightly strained after endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages slightly age toned to extremities but very bright and clean throughout. Institutional ink stamp to verso of frontispiece plate and title page, with blind stamp of Hackney Library to title page and page 1. Pervious loss to fore edge of page 15/16 and small closed rears to head of spine page 129/130, now repaired. Overall: Very Good Indeed
