Johnson Brothers China ~ JB119 selling Old Crown Stamp ~ 4 Vegetable Serving Bowls ~ Art Deco Gold Band, Aqua Scrolls, Pink Rose ~ Hollywood Regency

These are lovely Johnson Brothers bowls with a very art deco band of gold with aqua scrolls and pink roses in black scrolled boxes. They had a gold rim before, but that has worn a good bit. This mark has been used by Johnson's Brothers since 1913, but labeling tended to be more involved (more well labeled) after the 1950's, so I am thinking these may be 1920's-1940's.

The only ID I can find on this set is selling "JB119". These are actually identified as vegetable serving bowls and they retail for over $20 each even at "50% off" with slight damage. Marked with green "Johnson Bros England" crown stamp.

They are in good vintage condition. I see no chips, cracks or crazing, but there are some darker, deeper scratches in 2 of them. Light scratches in the other 2. Wash wear apparent with the gold loss from much of the rims.
