Give me strength selling tea candle holders

These are tea candles with a 1.5 inch diameter recess. The wood is sycamore from a local tree that was being trimmed. The outside is a combination of wood burned pattern, black dye on the bases, and the wood is lightly charred which I think gives the grain an interesting appearance.

The pieces are sanded to 800 grit and finished with hand polish.

I have been inspired by life events in the last few years. The smaller piece resembles family and support with a wide base, the taller piece represents rising above hate and adversity. The design of the smaller piece and middle section crevices are meant to represent deep moments of despair in life, though there is no darkness within these cuts, which shows there is a silver lining. The wood burned patters, and selling charred grain, and black dye is meant to represent all the challenges and adversity we may face on a daily basis. But under it all we must remember to rise above.
