I love dramatic weather and virga is one of my favorite phenomena. It is rain that is visible falling from clouds, but evaporating before hitting the ground. In this painting the virga is being lit by the bright colors of sunset.
This original painting is 7.25 by 10.25 inches on 8 by 11 inch paper. It was painted with high quality materials which will not fade or discolor.
Oil Pastels should be framed under glass with mats or spacers for protection. This painting will come to you wrapped in glassine and packaged flat to prevent damage in shipping.
