This is a Stone Canyon jasper sterling silver ring. Stone canyon jasper originates in the California central coastal region in an area half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The selling shank of this ring a 1/2 round sterling silver band cleanly soldered to the backing plate which is made of 24 gauge sterling. There is a flange around the bezel which enhances the sparkle. The bezel is flat sterling wire. This ring size is a number 6-1/2. The stone shows off the pattern of polished cabochon. Fantastic!
