Sterling silver ring with red garnet decorated with a leaf imprint. Simple forms, natural texture and a noble genuine red garnet. It has been designed and handcrafted by myself in my studio in Kyiv, Ukraine.

• Band's width is approx 5 mm. The stone is 4 mm.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All my silver jewelry is made of high quality sterling silver. Nevertheless you should know that sterling silver is a relatively soft metal (for example, when compared with steel) and it is subject to mechanical damage. Therefore your jewelry needs to be taken off during sports or household chores.

However sterling silver is chemically not very reactive, it can tarnish with time. To make your jewelry snow white again you can clean it with soda or toothpaste using a soft brush. Intentionally oxydized silver is not recommended to wash or clean with strong detergents (bath soap is allowed), in order to avoid leaching of silver oxide. Also you should not keep your clean and oxydized jewelry together, as this may contribute to a faster tarnishing of clean jewelry.

Gemstone jewelry needs to be weared especially careful, avoiding hits and falls. Keep away your opal and pearl jewelry from freaquent temperature and moisture fluctuations. Store your jewelries in separate packagings, so that they don't scratch each other, and put them on only after applying make-up, cosmetics exposure can dull and even harm your jewelry.
