Wood Specifications

Spanish Red Cedar- A historically valuable Latin-American timber, Spanish Cedar has been exploited in many regions, and the species is now considered to be vulnerable

Padauk- Padauk has a very unique reddish orange coloration, and the wood is sometimes referred to by the name Vermillion.

Curly Flame- Curly Maple (Tiger Maple) is traditional hard maple (sugar maple, rock maple, hard rock maple) with a soft and flowing figure.

Chechen- Rated as being very durable, and moderately resistant to most insect attacks. Color is highly varied, with red, orange, and brown contrasted with darker stripes of blackish brown.

Gaboon Ebony - There's no mistaking Gaboon Ebony as there are few woods that are deep and solid black (unless dyed), and even most species in the Diospyros genus aren't black.
