Here I have an selling exquisite sterling silver filigree heart pendant brooch that is just dripping with crystal clear marquise cut stones. This gorgeous piece is a signed AmLee from the 1940s-1950s. I have seen a lot of AmLee pieces but nothing even close to this gorgeous heart pendant/brooch.

The pendant is a large heart with the distinctive AmLee Florentine filigree wire work forming a beautiful, large heart. Each side has a curved pieces made of swirling circles of silver with a solid bead in the center of each one. Inside the heart are a whopping 23 crystal clear prong set marquise cut stones that sit in concentric rounds and fill the entire heart with dazzling light. There is a small twisted sterling silver circle at the top of the back that serves as a loop for the etched sterling silver bale. There is also a sterling silver pinback with a rollover clasp enabling the heart to be worn as a brooch as well. I have added a 17" fine rolo chain - but you can put this gorgeous piece on any sterling silver chain, or even a velvet or satin cord.

The necklace is marked on the back with the AmLee Sterling signature circle. The necklace is in pristine condition and is just beautiful.

The AmLee Jewelry Company was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, America. This was where many producers of Costume Jewelry were settled between the 1910s and 1940s. The trademark Am Lee was registered in 1946. The company made high quality refined jewelry, usually of sterling silver. frequently using filigree work, crystals, rhinestones, other genuine and imitation stones, cultured and imitation pearls. The company ceased production in the 1960s. The jewelry pieces are relatively scarce to find.

The heart is 1 1/2" wide, 1 1/4" tall and 3/8" thick.
The chain is a fine rolo chain and measures 17" and had a 1" extender and a lobster claw clasp.
The crystal stones measure 3 mm x 7 mm.
