Many were from red wine, so those have that red selling stain. I have no idea how many are in this trash bag, but they weigh roughly 8lbs. I took a picture of the shipping box empty which weighs about .75 lbs, and then weighed it again with the bag of corks, and total weight is almost 9lbs I've never made projects out of wine corks, so please feel free to ask any questions to make sure these will work for you.
