The signature to the half-title is 'To Bernard [Stone] Barry Fantoni 1974'. Bernard Stone was a publisher and bookseller from London. He owned a book store in Floral Streeet, Covent Garden. He was associated with Ralph Steadman who was a regular at his book store. In return Stone produced a series of books by Steadman. Stone later moved to Bloomsbury before moving his store back to Covent Garden.

Fantoni was a British author, cartoonist and jazz musician. He was a regular contributor to 'Private Eye' and wrote many books on Chinese Astrology.

This is a scarce poem by Fantoni, with an illustration by him to the front wrap. Condition Report: In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Overall: Near Fine
