Product code: Rare Midcentury Woodblock selling Print
Up for sale is this very interesting woodblock print by listed California Artist, Thelma Lora Fine. Ms. Fine was born in Yuba City in 1904, moving to San Francisco sometime before 1940. She's mostly known for her woodblocks, typically focusing on orange-hued trees. This piece is titled, "Eastside" at center, signed "Fine" at lower right and numbered 127/150 at lower left. Like Fine's typical works, this shows a detailed autumn scene with vivacious trees in front of a small town. The woodblock is incredibly detailed and really catches the eye. An incredible piece. Based on what I know of the artist, it likely dates to the 1950's or 1960's. Condition: The print and matting appear to be in excellent condition. Glass has some minor stains. The frame has numerous dings and scuffs selling but is sturdy. Measurements: Visible area of the print measures approximately 11 inches high x 9 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 20.5 inches high x 18.5 inches wide.
