Adorable Little Vintage Josef Originals selling Christmas Angel White Robe Gold Spackle Trim Gold Tree Red Berries Green Holly Blond Pony Big Eyes

"Tis the Season"! Here we have the cutest little angel with great big eyes. She wears a white robe that has rounded hem and sleeve cuffs with spackles of gold to give the impression of fluffy fur. The high collar and the skirt's gathering pleats are detailed with nice gold lines. Her embossed wings are white with generous gold painted ends. The hem has a wide scallop as it dances just above the floor. One hand holds a really cute green Christmas tree that has strips of white and green, with little red berries, and a round white ball right on the top. The tree has a red base. The opposite hand is held out in front of her as if she is about to give you a greeting! A sprig of green holly leaves and red berries are at the one lower side of her robe. Her thick, yellow blond hair is drawn up into a high ponytail; the curls of her pony laying at the side of her head. A little of her hair has been left down and creates a slight upturned curl by her neck. Darling! A darker brown shadowing has been selling used to emphasize her hair. She is completely under a glossy glaze with the exception of her sweet face and hand, which have a matte finish. This creates a dramatic contrast; a technique that was used by Lefton, Norcrest & Napco as well. It is the eyes of this darling angel that really capture the observer. They are so big with black outline and lashes. The way her face is slightly tipped down, yet the gaze is upward, creates a slight shyness. Her face has rich tones with nice blushing, high arched black eyebrows, a tiny little nose, and a small red, open mouth. Just darling to the core. The black and gold, oval "Josef Originals" foil sticker is on the back of her dress. The oval, gold and black "Japan" sticker is on the bottom. What a delightful addition to your Christmas display.

Body Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No cracks or chips of note. The foil stickers are in great condition (see photos). Typical age crazing is present (see photos).
