*Description: This is a great rainbow enamel SNAKE brooch pin by LAUREL BURCH from the 1980s. One of the really unique features of this pin by Laurel Burch is the way that she added the colors so that they appear to blend into the next color. She begins with an orange gold enamel, with a gold eye and mouth. Then using the cloisonne technique with the stripes, she added a few red stripes which then blended into purple and gold stripes, and finally into teal selling and gold stripes on the tail.

This amazing artist, Laurel Burch, is known for her colorful designs, many of which were created from her paintings, quality gold plated & enamel jewelry and using a cloisonne technique on her jewelry. All of her vintage jewelry is highly collectible and loved by many, including myself.
