A spray of light purple phalaenopsis, or moth, orchids selling with dark purple spots are featured in this original watercolor painting.
The painting has a light yellow-green background with a salted texture to let the orchids stand out. The artwork measures 8" x 10" on 9" x 11" paper so it has a narrow white border around the painting. This was a demonstration painting for my adult watercolor classes to demonstrate painting orchids.
