Raku Birdhouse, Metallic Ceramic Raku Birdhouse, Hanging Pottery Birdhouse

These birdhouses are wheel-thrown on the potter's wheel, then adorned with sculpted mushrooms, branches, beehives, and lichens. The Raku fire process creates an unpredictable variety of beautiful colors and textures. These pieces are unique, eye-catching pieces of garden, patio, and home decor.
Birds do nest inside of these birdhouses when conditions are right. Ceramics heat up in the sunshine so in colder climates partial sun is fine but full shade is best in warmer spring climates.
I have sculpted feet on the bottom to give you the option of being placed on a post, shelf, or table for a wonderful piece of indoor and/or outdoor decor.
A handmade metal S-hook hanger and hemp string are included to safely hang your birdhouse.
