Handmade with love and skill, vintage 1950s or earlier hooked rug wall art of two poppies. Black forest green background, delicate shading on leaves and flowers. Wooden frame that was spray painted back in the day with ecru and metallic gold to match the decorating style of the time. Sweet cottage decor.
Signed on the back paper dust cover. Made in Hopedale, MA.

CONDITION Very good. The piece is expertly hooked, the frame is scraped and somewhat chippy with the patina honest age.
