Jamaican Rum Fruit cake, also known as Black cake, or Christmas cake, is made with dried fruit soaked in (J.Wray & Nephew) wine and Rum and spices for over a month. The cakes are very moist and flavorful, baked with love and high-quality ingredients, which include: Unbleached flour, Benjamin, products, Ceylon cinnamon.
Baking Jamaican fruit cake has been one of my passion for years because the smell of the cake made me nostalgic for my childhood. I take great pride in baking them while knowing that what I am making will make other people happy is one of the warmest, fuzziest feelings.
