A very large beautiful hand-painted plate with vibrant colors and thick paint finish gold trim by Hubert Bequet in 1950s.

Some things about Hurbert Bequet:
Hubert Bequet began his creating ceramic in 1926 at the Belgian ceramics manufacturer Auguste Mouzin selling et Cie (AMC).
In 1934 he opened his own ceramics production factory in Quaregnon. The factory had a very successful period with peak in the 1960s. December 1982, because of various problems Bequet's large factory was closed. He continue to produce pottery in a small workshop-“The Ceramics of Borinage”, until April 1985.
In more than 50 years of creation with porcelain, Hubert Bequet has produced beautiful, splendid and richly decorated ceramic products.
