A wonderful mid-century modern carved Duck is the next item up for your consideration.

Not sure of the wood used but it's a beautiful shade of Gold exhibiting lots of exciting color variations. There are no knot holes in this wood.

Measuring: 6 7/8" tall x 15" long x 3 1/4" wide @ base x 4 3/4" long @ base, the base measures 1" thick, condition is excellent. This item has a nice gloss to it, not overly shiny.

This bird/duck has it's neck extended, which is a unique stance, there is not a lot of detail work on bird itself. There is a line on beak giving it separation of top and selling bottom of beak. Lines on side depicting wings and or feathers, circles on each side of head depicting eyes, see pic's #3-4. The look is modern.

There is no mark on this item but makes no difference, it's lovely without a mark and would enhance any area with any decor. There is very little scratching if any, I actually don't see any myself.
