This bracelet features one of my favorite type of trade beads: the disc shaped French Cross bead. You don't get to see these often, mostly they come in tubular shape. I love these discs so much! They are a warm deep ochre, and well worn. On each of them the fine trails faded: on some just a tiny bit, on others heavily.
They go great with the other well worn beads: some fantastic old wound beads from Hebron. They were made before 1860, and acquired gorgeous patina.
I added opalescent glass from Venice, same age as the French cross beads: late 1800's, and old beads from Gablonz.
Further: beautiful earthy turquoise and African seeds.
The solid silver beads were made by the Hill Tribe people, except for the one in the centre: that is an old hollow bead from Ethiopia.
Understated bracelet with a very fine collection of beads in warm hues - one you don't want to take off.
SIZE: it measures approx. 6.1 to 6.7 inches (15.5 to 17 cm). See pictures for dimensions. It closes with a hand made silver clasp.
It ships with track and trace.
I ship within one business day. To the USA, Canada, Australia and Asia it usually takes two weeks for my packages to arrive. Within Europe, delivery takes a few days selling up to a week. Handling at the customs may cause a delay.
I do combine shipping.
