17-inch / 43 cm long leather wrapped ashwood handle. Carbon steel tempered sharp blade, cutting edge is 3. inches / 7.5cm . Sharp but may be sharpened further with whetstone and water, OR you can blunt it for re-enactment ....total weight approx 1.010 grams, a very nice solid heft.
The runes from top to bottom are Othila, Gebo, Algiz, Fehu and Hagalaz.
