It's not only beautiful, but practical, too. The highly detailed piece has a removeable end cap which once removed will hold your message or important papers. It measures approximately 14-1/4” inch long by 2-1/4” inch wide. Removeable end cap has an attached safety chain measuring 6-1/2.

This appears to be silver plate over brass and is considered to be in very good vintage condition.
