selling Early mid-century (1940s) Sadler 3634F four-cup teapot with lid. Hand-decorated red roses on cream with a gold edge and accents.
In EXCELLENT! condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks, or fleabites, VERY MINIMAL! loss to the gold edge or accents other than a spot to the tip of the lid pull and NO! marks or stains other than some LIGHT! wear to the underside, noticeable when the pot itself is over-turned. The inside bowl of the pot is fresh and clean with NO! tannin stains. The florals are bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent. Pieces show age-appropriate crazing on all sides.
Artist's mark 3634F to base as well as impressed SADLER ENGLAND marks for the period.
Approximate measurements: teapot stands 6" (base to tip of lid pull) x 8-1/2" across (handle to spout).
