REDUCED PRICE - WAS $68! A simply lovely little cabinet vase produced by Faiencerie de Thulin in Himaut, Belgium most likely during the 1920's. In the Art Nouveau style, this piece features a beautiful matte glaze consisting of a creamy golden base glaze with drips of chocolate brown, pale green and cream and a fully glazed interior. A unique shape with a small 1-1/2" rim gracefully flowing into 4" shoulder and a slender 1-3/4" waist just above the 2-5/8" base. Beautiful design, style and colors. Marked on the bottom, Shape #11. The Thulin pottery near Mons was founded in 1887 by the industrialist Victor Ducobu-Decaudin in an old sugar refinery. The products were made by casting in fine earthenware and covered with glazes or colored enamels.
Condition: Several tiny pinholes are present which occurred during the firing process. No chips, cracks or repairs are noted.
