The pair feature traditional clothing of the region. They appear to be farmers harvesting wheat. They both have sickles and wheat bundles. The bases may be gold leafed. They were originally from Marshall Fields. The original price stickers are still on both figures' undersides. Both have felt pads on undersides as well. Good condition, no real damage. The lady has a vertical craze line in her arm. See pics. Dust and dirt in crevice areas. . The gold leafed bases may have some scratches in selling places that are age related. The underside of the lady has a couple of old sticker remnants. There are white spots on the underside in the shellac. There sometimes the feeling that some of the white spots are blotches of white paint. The underside can be spotty, dirty and marks etc. showing from age. Both figurines are similar, the other figurine only has a Marshall fields sticker. The boy has a brown paint area under brim of hat and a paint flick on brim of hat. Considering age of these figurines, they've held up remarkably well. Considering the composition their made from and their fragility. They measure about nine inches tall.
